Sermon Series
There's a reason John's Gospel reads differently than the other three. It captures conversations the others don't include, and gives us a portrait of our Savior we won't find anywhere else in Scripture.
This is the Gospel where Jesus tells Nicodemus he must be born again, where He asks a Samaritan woman for water at a well, and where He calls Himself the bread of life, the light of the world, the good shepherd, and the resurrection and the life.
Throughout the summer, we're walking through John together. We'll see Jesus revealed in His signs and His "I am" statements, follow Him from His first miracle at Cana to His last breakfast with the disciples on the shore, and come away with what John was writing for all along: that we would believe in Jesus, and have the abundant life He came to give us.
