Why We Give
- Giving is an act of worship, trust, and obedience. Everything we have comes from God, and generosity keeps our hearts focused on Him. It’s not about obligation—it’s about honoring Him with what He has entrusted to us (Proverbs 3:9).
- Generosity is a defining trait of God’s people. Jesus calls us to a generosity that flows from a transformed heart, one that reflects justice, mercy, and love (Luke 11:42). We give as an act of gratitude.
- Generosity fuels God’s work. When we give, we support ministry, care for those in need, and help spread the gospel. It’s a tangible way to live out our faith and be the hands and feet of Jesus along the 422 Corridor & beyond.
- God provides when we trust Him. Scripture reminds us that when we give faithfully, God meets our needs. “Test me in this… and see if I will not open the windows of heaven for you.” (Malachi 3:10) Giving isn’t about what we lose—it’s about participating in something bigger than ourselves, something with eternal impact.
